very true, very true

however, the "drivel" was an expression of the "here and now" - no past, no future. it was an ultimate expression of reality (barring the electronic necessity that it does indeed take "time" for posts to be written and subsequently read.) The true expression of the present negates the need for past and future, just as each inbreath and outbreath becomes a new reality without regard for what has passed and what will follow.

and now, i am going to have my first cup of coffee and be fully present within its delightful aroma (and pray that the caffeine kicks in post haste)

Ah--methinks new heights have been scaled with respect to esoteric drivel (the best kind!) with this poetic post of yours, you Lit Riven Phud, you, with your pfancy pants prose!

And, dispensing with the need for the past and future brings us squarely to the Eastern Philosophies and what better source for drivel I ask?

Be here now! Be there later! Be where you were when you Be'd there!

Be and Be again and again!

it would be easy to understand how those two Northwest pilots blew right past their destination if they were using their laptops reading out mesmerizing, enchanting, and ever-so-philosophically-insightful drivel. i mean, how could the FAA even consider revoking their licenses if they were spending their time so wisely. methinks they were engaged in an educational endeavor of epic import!

(ok - maybe not)

I think my computer has gone Buddhist - reluctant to retrieve the files of the past from the harddrive of eternity and unwilling to download the seeds of future files from the internet of infinity.

If it gets much slower I'll be posting by pigeon.

Send your pigeon to my balcony ,for old time sake ,when Brits and Frenchies used to be romantic (a thousand years ago ). We could also play spies to find out when the chips comes down withworld economy ! Or secrets about climate warming while we spend our summers shivering ! There is no end to the use of a good pigeon !
